UPON  THE  APPLICATION  dated  28th March  1995  made  under  Section  12  (1) (A) of the Legal Profession Act coming on for hearing before the Disciplinary Committee on the 3rd February 1996, and heard the matter on 27th September, 1997, and 21st February 1998.

DECISION DELIVERED – 3RD OCTOBER, 1998

AND UPON the Complainant, Mr. Aston Senior appearing and giving evidence on oath

AND UPON the attorney-at-law Carlton Campbell not appearing and giving evidence on oath

AND UPON DUE CONSIDERATION of the evidence

THE COMMITTEE FOUND that Mr. Carlton Campbell, Attorney-at-law, is guilty of Professional Misconduct in that:

He has not when reasonably so required by his client, provided him with all information as to the progress of his business with due expedition in breach of Canon IV(r) of the Canons of Ethics:-

PURSUANT TO THE FOREGOING FINDING, THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE UNANIMOUSLY ORDERED:­-

That attorney-at-law Carlton Campbell shall be fined Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00) and the said attorney-at-law Carlton Campbell pay costs of One Thousand Dollars($1000.00) to the complainant Mr. Aston Senior.
